This green plant is actually a gas specie and prefers rather cold water. It will only survive for a few months in a warm aquarium. However it can be a very good plant in combination with Cichlids. They will leave the plant alone and you have vegetation for at least a few months! After 3 months this plant will die. In a cold aquarium it will survive longer and it is very well suitable for a Paludarium. It becomes thicker and thicker and will not get taller than approx. 35 cm. A plant that is also easy to multiply just by cutting it in the right direction."
