Echinodorus 'Red Spider'

Echinodorus 'Red Spider' - a beautiful, not very high (up to 22 - 25 cm) echinodorus. It does not carry many leaves, the socket is compact. Young leaves are really very bright, crimson-red. Then they acquire a dark green color. On young leaves, a grid of veins is clearly visible, the veins on young leaves of the same color as the plate, on old leaves of veins brighten. The leaves have a short petiole. There are no special requirements for the conditions of detention. Only with more intense illumination is the leaf color more pronounced. In appearance, the Echinodorus 'Red Spider' has some similarities with the Echinodorus 'Red Special'. But this is a deceptive impression. Echinodorus 'Red Special' is much larger, it does not have a pattern of veins on a leaf, the leaf is more dense, there is practically no petiole on the leaf, the rosette is more spreading. Echinodorus 'Red Spider' looks more vibrant, compact, elegant.
