They exist in natural circumstance in Eastern Europe and long-term water temperatures of over 24 0C are not recommendable. Very resistant against cold and very cold water. When the moss ball is dirty if can easily be cleaned under the tap however it might take a few hours before the moss ball will sink again. They grow very slowly and therefore these very large moss balls with a diameter of 10 cm are very rare.
