This unusual and attractive cultivar is called 'Flamingo'. Its most eye-catching feature is the light to dark-pink tones of the leaves. It grows very slowly in aquariums and must have good lighting to ensure successful rooting and growth. A wonderfully decorative addition combined with mosses or Hemianthus in small aquariums or Nano Cubes.
Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Flamingo' is best placed in the midground to foreground. Good lighting and a nutrient-rich bottom are recommendable.
